It's A Cheesy Kinda Day- Recipe Wednesday!

During the holiday season my aunt brought a yummy Baked Brie Spread to a family function.  It was delicious!  I was having some friends over the following week and wanted to try my hand at it!  It turned out great and it was super easy!  Here is my version of the Baked Brie Spread!

1 wheel of double cream Brie Cheese (size depends on the number of people).  I bought a 5-inch round for 6 people.

1 sheet of frozen prepared puff pastry, defrost in refrigerator.

3-4 tablespoons of jam.  I used Strawberry-Rhubarb, but you can use Fig or Raspberry.

A handful of chopped Walnuts - Optional!

Preheat oven to 325F.

Slice the brie wheel in half across the middle.

Take your puff pastry and spread it out on the counter.  You want the thickness to be about 1/8 of an inch.

Place half of the brie onto the puff pastry and spread the jam on top.

Put the top half of the brie on top of the jam layer.

Wrap the pastry puff up and over the brie, starting at the corners.  Pinch at the top or press down to seal.

Placed wrapped Brie on parchment paper on a pan or in oven safe dish.

Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the wrapped brie.
Bake for 15-20 minute or until golden brown.

Serve warm with crackers or crostini.

Your guests will love it!
