I'm usually pretty lucky during the winter months that my skin doesn’t get too dry, but this year my hands have closely resembled sandpaper. They are red and scaly and they burn anytime I put cream on them or wash them. I blame the polar vortex and this never-ending winter of freezing temperatures!
I was given Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Cream to try out, and it couldn’t have been better timing. I received the Concentrated Formula, the Moisturizing Body Oil and the Palmer’s Coca Butter Formula Lotion. I started with the Concentrated Formula on my hands immediately. Let me tell you how much I love it. It is thick but goes on smoothly and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily. It softens and smooths your skin with its pure coca butter and has the added benefits of antioxidants and Vitamin A, C and E.
The Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil is equally fabulous! It is prefect for after the shower or bath, it absorbs quickly and like the concentrated formula it is silky without feeling greasy. The oil is very light and is slightly scented. Next I tried the Palmer’s Coca Butter Formula Lotion which is a fast absorbing all-over the body lotion. Like the other cream and moisturizing oil it melts into your skin! It provides a great moisture barrier for your skin and leave a subtle coca scent.
Overall I really like the Palmer’s Coca Butter Creams and Moisturizing oil. My only personal criticism is the subtle coca scent, since sometimes I'm a little sensitive to scents. Even though I think the scent is a bit strong, it does fade, and the benefits definitely outweigh the negative. My hands have never been this moisturized during the winter months!
