OxiClean to the Rescue - Review

When I became a mom of one, my laundry seemed to triple!  Who knew such a small person could go through so many articles of clothing?  Now that my daughter is 2.5 years old and we have another little one on her way, I can’t image the amount of laundry I will be doing.  When I first became a mom, and I struggled with stains, I would just send the clothing to my mom’s house. She is a miracle worker; she can get any stain out of anything.  It’s mindboggling!

So I asked her to share her secret.  Well apparently it wasn’t that big of a secret.  She uses OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover and a little bit of love.  At first I was a bit scared to use OxiClean on my little girls’ clothing.  I discovered they also have an OxiClean Baby Stain Remover Spray! This was a lifesaver for my kid's clothes.  Now that my daughter is older I didn’t want to buy two different detergents and two different stain removers etc, I wanted one of each that the whole family could use.  I decided to go with my mom’s secret formula, love and OxiClean!  I went out and bought myself a container and let me tell you it has not let me down!

So when I was approached to write a review about OxiClean and in return, receive a free container, it was a no brainer to say yes! I needed a new one anyway!  What I love about OxiClean is that it is chlorine-free and colour-safe.  It works fast and it works well.

This weekend we had my nephew over and we had a mini painting party.  My daughter didn’t get the memo to not paint her brand new shirt!

Conveniently my laundry room is under renovation so I decided to try to get the paint out in a mini tub of water and some OxiClean.  I filled the mini tub with warm water and just a teaspoon of OxiClean, swirled it around and threw her shirt in it.

An hour later I went back and the paint was almost completely gone, I left the shirt in the bucket for another hour and the shirt was brand new again! I didn’t scrub it or put it in the washing machine and it was just as clean.

OxiClean has been one of my best friends in my household, especially getting strawberry stains out of my cream pillows, tomato sauce stains out of my husband's shirt, and the multiple red wine stains I get on my white table cloths.  OxiClean is definitely a product that I would recommend and use over and over!

OxiClean can be purchased nationally at Walmart and Shopper’s Drug Mart and is Canada’s #1 trusted stain fighter.  OxiClean® Versatile Stain Remover Powder has over 101 uses on multiple surfaces like carpet, upholstery, kitchen and bath surfaces, and even works outdoors on gutters, unfinished decks, and patio furniture.
